About Us

We started life in the Newspaper business. As a busy working couple we ate a lot of ready meals and now we have a young family we don’t always have the time or inclination to cook a good meal every night.

However we always had a niggling guilt about convenience food, as the ingredients were often liberally peppered with Xanthan gum, stabilisers, E numbers etc etc.

We thought - why do they have to do that? Surely you can make a ready meal without having to put all that stuff in?

Well.... you can! We set about finding great-tasting natural raw materials, cooking them in a traditional way with fab recipes and voila!
